The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce (GSCC) uses social media to connect, inform, and celebrate our vibrant business community. Member Engagement
We encourage all members to:
- Actively support Chamber content by liking, sharing, and commenting on posts.
- Promote community spirit by tagging other businesses, sharing success stories, and celebrating achievements within our region.
- Engage positively, keeping comments constructive, professional, and aligned with the Chamber’s purpose of supporting local business growth.
Promotional Content
To maintain fairness and professionalism across all platforms:
- Members are not to use comment sections on Chamber posts to promote their own services, products, or events, as this can detract from the focus of the featured member or business being highlighted.
- Members are welcome and encouraged to submit their own promotions, announcements, or achievements directly to the Chamber for consideration and sharing via our official social media channels.
Respectful Conduct
- The Chamber will not tolerate any comments or posts that are derogatory, discriminatory, offensive, or defamatory.
- Any content deemed inappropriate, disrespectful, or inconsistent with the Chamber’s values will be removed without notice.
- Members engaging in repeated or serious breaches may be blocked from the Chamber’s social media platforms and have their membership reviewed by the Executive Committee.
Representation
When engaging online, members are reminded that their actions can reflect on the Greater Springfield business community as a whole. We ask all members to represent themselves, their business, and the Chamber with integrity, respect, and professionalism.
