President Neil Coupland was joined by committee member Tracy Sheen, Jeremy Bruce from McNamara and Assoc and Cathy Uechtritz in presenting proceeds from this year’s International Women’s Day lunch to Domestic Violence Action Centre in Ipswich.
DVAC is currently supporting around 900 victims of Domestic Violence each month and offer a range of services from counselling to security and relocation.
The donation from this years luncheon will go to assisting women who have fled domestic violence situations to purchase emergency necessities for themselves and their children.
