Springfield Central State High School opened in January of 2011 with students in years 8 and 9. The school has continued to grow rapidly and we are very proud of what we have achieved since our opening.

Our vision is: ‘Exceptional Today, Inspirational Tomorrow. We are driven to create a world class learning institution at Springfield Central State High. Positioned as we are so close to Education City, USQ, Mater Private Hospital, Future Health City, Channel Nine, General Electric Queensland headquarters, Amberley Air Force base, and the ever increasing construction and manufacturing zones, we continue to build partnerships that offer enhanced possibilities for our students well into the next decade and beyond.

Our mission statement sums this up perfectly ‘To develop young people who strive for the highest of standards, personal bests and have strong values that will empower them to contribute in life within and beyond Springfield in the years ahead.
