Since 1997, BIS Cosgrove Accountants and Advisers have been providing quality advice to our clients. Whether it has been guidance with individual taxes, business advice, strategic financial planning, superannuation, we are committed to ensuring our clients, and their finances, grow and prosper.
Established in Springfield Lakes in 2005, the Brisbane office that we now call our second home was initially known as Cotter Accountancy. In August 2022, we had the exciting opportunity of acquiring Cotter Accountancy to expand and grow BIS Cosgrove in a place we had never ventured before!
We wanted to get out of our comfort zone, and decided that exciting places with friendly new faces would be the perfect opportunity to do just that! Since the early 2000’s, Springfield Lakes has grown from a population of approximately 5,000 people, to an estimated over 20,000 by 2023. Not only did this increase indicate to us a growing demand for quality financial services, but it was also an area that we saw ourselves being proud to be part of.
Since the acquisition, we have been able to integrate our wealth of knowledge and experience in Tax and Accounting, as well as introducing Financial Planning and SMSF services to the existing client base at the Brisbane office. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for this new space.
